Eduardo Josè Rizo Lopez is not the classic coffee producer. After his studies in economics with a focus on agriculture, in 1986, he returned to the family and is now in the fifth generation.
Both farms are in Jinotega, famous for their volcanic soil and microclimate. They have been producing coffee since 1986 and Eduardo’s family currently has dozens of families working on the farms. To eliminate child labor they collaborate with the International Labor Organisation to raise awareness and build a school for children in the area.
