In cans, air and oxygen are replaced with nitrogen to maintain their organoleptic properties.

What’s with the nitrogen?

Nitrogen makes up 78% of the Earth’s atmosphere.

It is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, and inert gas and has no effect on the taste or appearance of the coffee.

Nitrogen allows optimal storage, prevents oxidation and aging of the product, which would be in contact with air.
